Taste of London Debut!

Every year Taste of London attracts the crème de la crème of chefs, restaurants and food and beverage companies alike.  2015 was no different with big names such as Michel Roux Jr, Theo Randall, Marcus Wareing and Monica Galetti (plus many many more!) making appearances across the five-day festival! It truly is any foodies dream event, so what better place for La di da Sweet Treats to sell and debut our new products – toffee popcorn cupcakes and our Chocolate Covered Cookies (being sampled before their big launch in Selfridges London store this month!), this year the attraction was this amazing food https://reportshealthcare.com/20070/keto-pure-diet/ .

In prime location, Stand I4 – opposite Lindt Chocolate, sandwiched between Prosecco on tap and Rattlers Frozen Cocktails but most importantly diagonal to Laurrent Perrier – La di da Sweet Treats were in business for an amazing week of selling! A little internal competition never hurt anyone, so the battle between the girls (Gabriella, Philippa and Hanna) and the boys (Lorenzo – our very own male model and Rohan – studying Business Studies at university – a very unfair advantage if I do say so myself) was on! The central walkway (quickly nicknamed the Purple Runway by the La di da team) was filled everyday with tray loads of our goodies and became the perfect backdrop for some healthy competitive selling – The Apprentice eat you heart out! Within a few hours’ visitors, exhibitors and even A-list chefs – including Paul Greening and Claudio Cardoso – were swarming around our colourful trays to see what all the hype was about.

Along with our trays, our lavish stand of each days freshly baked mini cupcakes and glorious display of our cupcake boxes and Chocolate Covered Cookies drew in the crowds thick and fast, not to mention our VIP guests from Selfridges, The Evening Standard, Laurrent Perrier, Aqua Kyoto and Sushi Samba!

Across the 5 days we sold an amazing 120-cupcake boxes along with 200 mini cupcakes each day. It is safe to say La di da Sweet Treats was the place to be at Taste of London this year! From Marshmallow, Candyfloss and Bubble-gum flavours for the children, to Mojito, Piña colada and Baileys for the adults (are they actually alcoholic I hear you ask – OF COURSE!) there was something for everyone. Although we must not forget the all time favourite staples of Salted Caramel, Vanilla and Belgium Chocolate, which were quickly flying off our cupcake, tower!

Before, during and after Taste of London was such a whirlwind experience, but it has led to some really exciting things for La di da Sweet Treats! Our collaboration with Candy Skull vodka at Lovebox Festival 2015 (for more info check out the blog post!) and work with Lovo – vodka infused coconut water – are just two of the amazing ventures that have come off of the back of Taste of London. There are a few more things to come but shhh … we are not allowed to say anything yet, so you’ll have to stay tuned!

We will be returning to Taste of London next year – in exactly the same location, Stand I4 – with new goodies for you all the lay your hands on!
